Cody Creek Cabin is a beauty: a traditional wood and shingle lodge, Adirondack in style and Western in spirit, set in the spectacular rangeland of Three Creek Ranch. Big windows make the most of the glorious views – the snow-capped peaks, the waving grasses – and a wide stone terrace creates a never-ending conversation between the classy little camp and the wildly beautiful land all around it.

Quality is paramount at Cody Creek Cabin, and the high level of craftsmanship is apparent as soon as you step through the heavy front door, with its lovely stained glass Arts-and-Crafts sidelights. A smooth stone floor and big picture window seem to invite you right back outside again; but the house unfolds magically from here. Burnished wood glows throughout the Cabin; rich leathers and deep colors create a foundation of warmth, comfort and luxury, as in a classic Great Camp.

In the living room, great studded beams brace the peaked ceiling. A wood-burning fireplace, flanked by bookcases, sends light dancing through the room. Leather club chairs and matching ottomans face a superb leather couch, and two doors open out to the terrace, the outdoor dining area, and the soul-stirring panorama of Jackson Hole.

Cody Creek Cabin has a truly wonderful kitchen, separated from the living room by banks of wood cabinets; the ceiling space is open so that light and conversation can flow back and forth between the two. A big center island holds a six-burner cooktop; double wall ovens wait opposite it. Great stretches of glossy black stone countertop provide ample space for food prep; and a small breakfast bar faces the kitchen and the big windows over the kitchen sink. Steps away is the dining room, with its own wide windows and double doors to the world outside.
