Ryan was born and raised in Waupaca, Wisconsin. He and his father took their first fly fishing trip to Montana in 1999, creating an indelible love with the West and the Greater Yellowstone area. Ryan has been a devout sportsman, returning ever since.
Ryan attended Saint Cloud State University in Minnesota and the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh where he majored in both Spanish and English languages. While studying abroad at the University of Salamanca during his senior year he met his soon-to-be wife, Jennifer. They returned to Wisconsin for a year where Ryan taught various Spanish courses at Fox Valley Technical College.
Later, Ryan and Jennifer moved back to Spain to teach and travel the world in their spare time. After visiting 34 countries and teaching for four years, they decided to return to the U.S., and Jackson Hole was at the top of their list to lay down roots.
When he isn’t working, Ryan and his beautiful wife are out exploring the pristine trout streams of the West, playing hockey, golfing, hiking, cross-country skiing, or traveling the globe.
A Massachusetts native, Sara graduated from University of Massachusetts with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and geology. Shortly after graduation, a field geology course brought Sara to the Tetons for the first time. A love for Jackson and the Tetons began then and there. Being a rower and a crew coach kept her from moving to Jackson immediately, but summer visits continued for years to come.
After several years teaching middle school science and coaching women’s crew, it was time to make the move to the West. That is when Sara moved to the Tetons and started a new career in hospitality. She has spent five years learning the ins-and-outs of luxury hospitality with Amangani and Aman Resorts. While working as the Assistant Front Office Manager, she provided personalized service to all of her guests and managed all evening operations within the hotel. She also spent some time working at sister properties within Aman in Utah and Dominican Republic. Sara now brings her luxury service and concierge experience to The Clear Creek Group as a Homeowner Liaison.
Since moving to Jackson Hole, Sara has had to expand her outdoor activities to include winter activities. While giving downhill a try, it is the cross-country and skate skiing that have stuck. Summer is still her favorite time of year in Jackson and therefore it is packed with hiking, backpacking trips, fly-fishing and kayaking.
Geoff was born and raised in Chappaqua, New York and graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in Business Management. He left the East Coast to fulfill his goal of exploring the American West, particularly the Rockies and the various ski towns where he might like to settle down. His first stop that faithful October of 1999 was Jackson Hole, and with its unique geography, wildlife, and culture, it quickly became clear he might visit the rest of those towns but had already found home.
Before joining the Clear Creek Group, Geoff began his career in the hospitality industry working in Teton Village as a Front Desk Agent for Jackson Hole Resort Lodging and as a Bellman at the Amangani Resort. He then switched gears to promoting Jackson Hole and the wonders of the region, while working as the Director of Sales for a local media company that offers a premier guest directory, travel guide, and web site.
Geoff has a passion for many of the outdoor activities Jackson has to offer, exploring the surrounding mountains on skis during the winter months and hiking, biking, and paragliding in the summers to name a few. As much as he enjoys living in Jackson he has never lost his wanderlust or his love of the ocean. Whenever possible, you will find him on a sailboat, scuba diving or just playing in the waves. He has been lucky to travel far and wide and hopes to continue doing so with the ultimate goal of seeing as much of the world as possible.
