KEVIN KAVANAGH, GENERAL MANAGER

Kevin was born in Youngstown, Ohio and graduated from The University of Cincinnati with a B.A. in Communications. He has been a year-round Jackson, Wyoming resident since 1994.  He has a diverse background in hospitality.  Kevin was the Food and Beverage, Operations Manager for the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort for six years before moving on to become a hotelier for the next eight years of his career.  He enjoyed great success serving as the Assistant General Manager of the Rusty Parrot Lodge and Spa; a Four Diamond, full service, boutique hotel in downtown Jackson.  During his tenure at The Parrot, he met Phil and Betsy Stevenson, while they were guests at the lodge, which steered the course of his career path to becoming the General Manager of The Clear Creek Group, nearly five years ago.

Kevin also participates within the community through his philanthropic efforts by serving as President of the Teton Freedom Riders, a non-profit organization, for over the last decade.  They are 100% volunteer organization that works directly with the United States Forest Service in constructing and maintaining Jackson Hole’s public trail network.  Kevin and the Teton Freedom Riders engage community members and businesses to protect trails as an asset that serves as the community’s connection to the greater Teton area’s natural resources.

With his wife Katie, Kevin resides in the Town of Jackson where they are proud to raise their two daughters, Maeve and Macy Jane.  Together they enjoy the fruits of Jackson Hole; fishing, boating, mountain biking, horseback riding, skiing, and snowboarding.

MICHAEL GERSACK, DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Michael is the Director of Operations.  He works closely with the operations team to ensure homes are in perfect condition for arriving homeowners and guests alike.  He is the point person for all Caretaking homeowner communications and he and his team provide the eyes and ears for those who can’t be here as often as they like.

Michael grew up in Livingston, Montana and attended Montana State in Bozeman, where he caught the skiing bug at a young age and it continued to lead him all over the West Coast. After college Michael moved to the Bay Area, where his hospitality career began. He continued to ski and also began hosting large hospitality golf events at the Presidio Golf Course in San Francisco, which led him to hit the road traveling the country with Cleveland Golf as their traveling specialist. Michael’s passion for skiing brought him back to some of the most notable resort towns, including Sun Valley, ID, Big Sky, MT, and in 2014 Michael joined the Clear Creek Group as the sales and reservationist supervisor.

Michael met his wife Shawna in Jackson Hole seven years ago, and always hoped to make Jackson their home. They now have a son, and are excited to raise a family in the town they met in. With his customer service and hospitality experience, Michael continues to fulfill his passion for skiing, and sharing his extensive knowledge through his guest service position.
