While the views would surely lure any guest, Grand View’s sophisticated-with-a-touch-of-whimsy (the front door is painted periwinkle) décor and open design encourage guests to relax and unwind, making it the perfect vacation home for a family looking for space, privacy, big mountain views, and a location proximate to Teton Village.
The home’s central living area is a great room that flows into a dining room and open kitchen; only a double-sided, wood-burning fireplace separates the two spaces. With windows that frame the Tetons, cathedral ceilings, and exposed timber beams, the open layout invites guests to relax and catch up in the living room, or gather ‘round the kitchen island to help prepare a meal in the thoughtfully designed and equipped space. With French doors off the kitchen that open onto an outdoor patio, guests will be able to easily access and enjoy outdoor living spaces that include a fire pit, gas grill, and hot tub. Adjacent to the kitchen is a butler’s pantry/laundry room, a powder room, and a mud room, complete with a trail map of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort that covers the entirety of one wall.
The opposite, westernmost side of the home, is where guests can relax over a game of 8 Ball on the game room’s a pool table, then escape to the primary suite. With a king bed, a stunning walk-in shower, and a sitting area with Teton-facing windows, guests may find themselves lounging, enjoying the views all day long.
Grand View’s second floor is dedicated to the three, remaining bedroom suites. The west wing has two bedrooms; a queen-size, ensuite bedroom, as well as another suite with a California king bed.
The second floor’s east wing, which is accessed through the mudroom, has a bunk room with two queen beds and a twin/twin bunk. The décor is whimsical and includes a charming series of ski-scene lithographs by local artist Diane Benefiel. The bathroom is perfectly suited to accommodate the bunk room’s capacity, as it includes a double vanity and walk-in shower.
Grand View is the perfect vacation home for guests who prefer to be close to the resort and local amenities. Teton Village’s Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is a quick, nine-minute drive from the property, and The Aspens, a commercial area that’s home to boutiques, a bookstore, restaurants, a gourmet market, a wine shop, and a local favorite, Persephone Bakery Café, is a short walk way.
