Villa Palazzetta is located on a bluff overlooking the famous hill town of Montalcino and with panoramic views of Val d’Orcia, World Heritage Site in southern Tuscany. Montalcino is best known for producing Italy’s renowned Brunello. There are 263 Brunello vineyards within a 5-mile radius of the historic city center.
The original building dates back to the 1600s but today it has been lovingly restored into a contemporary, refined and comfortable house, with the best Italian design furniture and custom local artifacts.
The villa’s design is straightforward. An open plan kitchen-dining-living area that spills outdoors on two sides, to the heated pool and surrounding gardens. Upstairs four bedrooms with en-suite modern bathrooms.
Underneath the floors is installed a radiant floor panel system used both for heating in winter and cooling in summer; in the winter also integrated with radiators installed inside the bathrooms. In addition, a/c fan-coils integrate summer cooling and dehumidification and winter heating. An automatic air exchange system is also installed, which allows to live the building even without opening the windows.
The swimming pool can be heated upon request at the beginning of the summer season and at the end of it.
