Turn towards the Tetons from the highway to Grand Teton National Park, and just when you’re wondering if you’re going to drive right into the foot of the rocky range itself, turn left. Drive a little way into Fairway Estates, and you’ll arrive at Huckleberry Hideout. Upon arrival, you will find yourself immersed in endless Teton views to the west.
Huckleberry Hideout is the perfect Jackson Hole vacation home for families or groups of friends that want to be close to a world-class golf course while leaning into Jackson Hole’s reputation as the “Last of the Old West”. In a home removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown Jackson and Teton Village, yet minutes to the southern entrance of Grand Teton National Park, you get to enjoy the best of both worlds.
Inside, this 3,765-square-foot, four-bedroom ranchette is as quintessentially Jackson Hole as the views outside. It encompasses the spirit of the mountain-man, while being tastefully refined. Much of the art collection is displayed in vintage tramp art frames; vintage fly rods decorate the walls; there’s a Boone & Crockett-worthy moose head just inside the entryway; antler chandeliers hang in the great room and dining room; a wooly bison mount looks down on the gourmet kitchen; and European-style mounted antlers hang in many of the bedroom suites.
On the north end of the home, you will find Huckleberry Hideout’s primary and secondary suites. From these rooms, guests will enjoy views of the slopes at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, as well as Grand Teton National Park’s Mt. Hunt, Buck Mountain, and the fossil-rich Death Canyon Shelf. Both suites have king beds, gas burning fireplaces, tastefully decorated bathrooms, and sitting areas. The primary suite has doors that open to the home’s expansive wooden deck, which features a firepit and multiple seating areas. In addition to these two suites, the north end of the home hosts a laundry room and an additional powder room.
In the southern end of the home, guests can find the third- and fourth-bedroom suites. Both have king beds and sitting areas, as well as fully equipped bathrooms.
Huckleberry Hideout is about ten minutes from both the Jackson Hole Airport and Grand Teton National Park’s southern entrance at Moose and about 20 minutes from downtown Jackson. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is about 30 minutes away.
