Whether you’re looking for a Jackson Hole hideaway with a creek running through the backyard, close to Grand Teton National Park, easy access to the slopes of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, or with restaurants and spas only a short walk away, consider Lodge at Shooting Star West 01. In the coveted Shooting Star neighborhood, this Lodge has two primary suites, a guest bedroom, a bunkroom, an outdoor hot tub, and an expansive great room with views of JHMR, Après Vous Mountain, and the southern Tetons. Plus, the loved-by-locals bike path is nearby, allowing for you to cruise to Wilson or downtown Jackson on an e‑bike without the worry of cars and traffic.
This Lodge is elegantly cozy, in both its public and private spaces. In the great room, which is open to the kitchen, dining area and breakfast nook, clear-cedar cathedral ceilings bring a warm, woody vibe, while lighting fixtures are sculptural and contemporary. Sink into an overstuffed sectional in front of the wood-burning fireplace in the great room or open the French doors to the patio and read a book or play cards while listening to the burble of Fish Creek flowing through the backyard. If you’re here during winter, keep the doors closed and enjoy the sensation of being in a real-life snow globe.
The kitchen has professional-grade appliances, including a Sub-Zero refrigerator and a Wolf range. Sit down with your family and friends at the 10-seat dining table or keep it more informal and claim a stool at the kitchen island or a bench seat in the breakfast nook.
In addition to the kitchen and great room, the Lodge’s main level has a mud room, laundry room, media room with digital projector, and the main level primary suite.
The main level primary suite is in its own wing on the west side of the Lodge. Connected to the main building by a glass hallway, this primary suite has a spa bathroom with heated floors, a steam shower, and a soaking tub. In the bedroom, you’ll find a gas burning fireplace, king size bed, seating area, a writing desk, and a private entrance to the backyard patio with views of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.
Two bedrooms and a bunk room are on the Lodge’s upper floor. The upper level primary suite is at the southern end of the Lodge and has similar amenities to the main level primary suite. Instead of views of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, this suite has views of the Snake River Mountain Range.
At the north end of the Lodge’s upper level, a bunk room and a guest bedroom with two twin beds (that can be combined into a king size bed) share a bathroom with a separate WC, heated floors, walk-in shower, and double vanity. The four built-in twin bunks in the bunkroom are custom and each has a reading light.
Downtown Jackson is about 12 miles from Shooting Star. The community of Wilson, which is home to the local favorite Pearl Street Bagels, iconic Stagecoach Bar, and several restaurants, is about nine miles away. The southwestern entrance to Grand Teton National Park is two miles away while the base area of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is less than one mile away and this home offers access to a ski shuttle in the winter months.
