This 1,325-square-foot, two-bedroom penthouse located in downtown Jackson offers views of surrounding buttes and the Center for the Arts. This unit provides in-town living with the comfort and privacy of a fourth floor unit.
Penthouse on Glenwood 407’s location is less than one block from the Center for the Arts and three blocks from several iconic Jackson establishments, including the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, the historic Wort Hotel, and Jackson Hole Playhouse. All of downtown Jackson’s restaurants are within walking distance, including Snake River Grill, Persephone Bakery, and The Kitchen. Also, within walking distance is the elk antler-arched Town Square and Snow King Mountain. The latter has 400 acres of ski-able terrain and a tubing park in winter and miles of hiking and biking trails in the summer. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, the valley’s destination ski and summer resort is about a 25 minute drive or bus ride. Across the street is Vertical Harvest, a four-story greenhouse which grows 100,000 pounds of tomatoes and greens used in most local restaurants, we recommend a tour of this architectural wonder.
The kitchen, living, and dining areas are open to each other. A dining table seats four, while the stone-topped kitchen island has seats for three. The kitchen has Jenn-Air appliances, including a gas range and oven. An overstuffed sofa in the living room faces a gas-burning fireplace.
Adjacent to the living room is a large hall closet, laundry room, and full bathroom. The guest bedroom has a queen-size bed and shares the full bathroom in the hall. The primary suite is past the guest bedroom. Here there’s a king-size bed and a comfortable sitting area. The oversize primary bathroom has a walk-in shower with dual shower heads, a double vanity, and a deep soaking tub.

While the restaurants, entertainment, and shopping of downtown Jackson are a short walk from this penthouse, that doesn’t mean the wild spaces Jackson Hole is famous for are difficult to get to. The southern entrance to Grand Teton National Park is a 20-minute drive. Cache Creek, a hiking, Nordic ski, and biking area beloved by locals, is a 5‑minute drive. Park at the main Cache Creek trail head and it’s only a 15-minute hike before you’re in designated wilderness. Cache Creek is one of the best places to spot moose in the valley. Guests can also bring or rent bikes and access the paved biking trails located throughout the town and connect to Teton Village and Grand Teton National Park.
