Pines Garden Unit 4050 is a light, bright two-bedroom cottage set in Teton Pines, a private Westbank golf and residential club. It’s a perfect retreat for a couple or a small family on vacation. The convenient bike path runs alongside the entrance to Teton Pines tying Pines Garden Home 4050 to the nearby Aspens community, with its small shops and great restaurants, bank, and the well-provisioned Aspens Market… and further north along to Teton Village and Grand Teton National Park, and south to the hip, little community of Wilson.
It’s a central, vibrant location; and yet Pines Garden Home 4050 feels cozy and inviting. A pond, favored by ducks, is set behind the unit. Tall trees hold osprey nests, it is not uncommon to see moose mingling among the trees, keep an eye out and you may just see a fox. In wintertime, cross country skiing is just steps away on the vast, rolling Teton Pines golf course.
Pines Gardens Home 4050 is an open concept with high-ceilings, all on one level. A welcoming living room is flooded with light from myriad windows and French doors, which lead out to the lawns and pond. A granite-framed, wood-burning fireplace, provides a strong counterpoint to the light, airy seating area. A beautiful bentwood breakfast table waits in a windowed alcove, for morning coffee and the planning of the day’s activities. In the compact, high-quality kitchen, the sink looks out over the living area to the mountains, and the kitchen window opens to the pond and summer breezes.
The primary bedroom is as calm and luminous as the rest of the house, with a door that opens to the back porch. A simple, wood-framed king bed is flanked by two bedside tables; an upholstered window seat offers an inviting spot to nap or read. There is both a dresser and a walk-in closet, for ample clothing storage.
The luxurious bath is all in white, and a room-length mirror over the double sinks reflects the big window and the big mountains above the long soaking tub. There is a separate, glass-walled shower, and a private water closet.
The guest bedroom is a brilliant and versatile space: two twin beds can be pushed together to make a king-size bed. A bay window lets in lots of light. In the lovely private bathroom, there is a tub/shower combination. Just down the hall is the laundry area and a door to the garage.
